Transition expo in March

A Transition Expo Preparing Students and Parents for the Future will be held on March 5, 2013 from 3:00 PM- 7:30 PM at Penn State Berks in the Franco Building.

Representatives from the following organizations have been invited to participate:

• Job Training & Employment Pro-grams
• Residential Services
• Transportation Services
• State/County Agencies
• Adult Service Organizations
• Recreational Services
• Counseling Services
• Assistive Technology Services
• Adaptive Equipment Services
• Advocacy Organizations
• Volunteer Organizations

Why Attend the Expo?
Success in transition is meeting your goals in: post– secondary edu-cation, employment, recreation and independent living.
Planning for the future can be overwhelming, especially if YOU will require some level of support in order to work or participate in the community.
Adult service providers can play a major role in helping YOU reach your potential. This is an opportunity for YOU & your family to gain information on how to access services, supports, and accommodations.

volunteer opportunities.
