CBS Los Angeles is reporting today that a transgender San Bernadino woman, who was found dead in her apartment, has been identified as 32-year-old Domonique Newburn aka "Dominique". The body was discovered on Tuesday evening on Bennett Avenue.
Police say neighbors called 911 when they heard screaming and shouting coming from the home. When Fontana police arrived on the scene, they found the door wide open with a cross-dressed man lying on the floor. Domonique Newburn aka Daymond Watford was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m, according to the coroner.
In a 2010 "Hollywood Houseboys" episode, Domonique described her love for makeup and her attraction to straight males "who played basketball and football." Newburn often traveled to Mexico to receive her medications and injections.
The suspect, a Black male, was observed leaving the area in Domonique Newburn's vehicle and appears to be in his 30's or 40's.
Police are asking for help in locating the victim's missing car, which is described as a black 2004 Mercedes-license plate 7AAY925.
Newburn, starred in "Hollywood House Boys," an African American docu-reality drama featuring the lives of gay black males who are trying to make it to Hollywood.
Police are not classifying the murder as a hate crime. A cause of death has not been mentioned.
