A new video for Transformers: War for Cybertron shows off plenty of gameplay action and the debut of a huge Decepticon boss called Trypticon that dwarfs even the mighty Autobot Omega Supreme.
Transformers: War for Cybertron looks very promising as a third-person action-shooter. Let's hope it will do for the Transformers video game franchise what Batman: Arkham Asylum did for comic-book based video games.
Transformers: War for Cybertron will also feature team-based multiplayer, and is set to release on June 22nd, 2010 for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The PC version will ship with a suggested retail price of $29.99 (vs. $59.99 on Xbox/PS3).
