Transformers: War for Cybertron characters revealed: Warpath, Barricade

WarpathTwo more playable characters from Activision's upcoming Transformers: War for Cybertron have been revealed: the Autobot soldier and tank Warpathand the speedy Decepticon scout Barricade.   

Warpath is a tough, thick-headed but heavily armed and armored solider class Autobot, while Barricade is fast, maneuverable scout class Decepticon.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is an action-shooter based upon events in the distant past before the time period depicted in the Transformers movies and television programs. The game will include both a single player campaign and team-based multiplayer. It is set to release on June 22nd, 2010 for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360. The PC version will ship with a suggested retail price of $29.99 (vs. $59.99 on Xbox/PS3).

WARPATH - Autobot

Primary Weapon: Neutron Repeater 
Abilities: Guided Missile, Barrier
Description:
Warpath is loud, confident, skilled and devoted to his fellow Autobots.  He is also partially deaf from his amazingly large cannon.  His favorite past time is showing his friends how he can split a hex nut a mile and a half away with his tank gun.  Extremely well armored to go along with his extreme stubbornness and thick skull, Warpath always loves to press the battle to the Decepticons.  
 

BARRICADE - Decepticon
Class: Scout
Chassis: Car
Primary Weapon: Neutron Repeater
Abilities: Shockwave, Cloak
Description: 
Barricade is a true speed demon, powering his engine to speeds faster than some jets.  He is a brutal leader on the battlefield, scolding Decepticons that do not perform up to his and Megatron’s standards.
