‘Transformers 4’ have found shooting location

After many “Transformer 4” rumors and speculation, Reel Chicago can at least confirm the films shooting location. On Monday, March 18, ComingSoon.net revealed that the fourth installment of the “Transformers” franchise has found a home in Chicago.

Production staff is said to arrive in Chicago sometime this June and film all the way through October. There is no confirmation of the rumored setting to include China. The source reads: “The biggest film of the futuristic trio is director Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers 4,’ which is expected to return in June to the city the Decepticons had turned into rubble four years earlier.”

Reel Chicago goes on to say that the star of the film Mark Wahlberg is house hunting for a local rental home to stay during the four months of shooting. Also starring in “Transformers 4” is Jack Reynor. Rumored to return to reprise his role is Josh Duhamel, but no confirmation about that has been released.

“Transformers 4” is scheduled for a May 16, 2014 release.
