'Transformers 4' has another lead

Michael Bay has confirmed today, via his blog, that Jack Reynor (“Dollhouse”) has been cast opposite Mark Wahlberg (“Pain & Gain”) in “Transformers 4.”

He revealed that, “He (Jack) is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie ‘What Richard Did.’ This kid is the real deal.”

The biggest news, which had only been rumor up until now, is that the new film will take place four years after the events of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” and will set off a new trilogy.

Michael Bay stated that the new films will feel very different than the previous films, and that there is a reason they have a new cast.

I am hoping they cut out all the kiddie crap, and focus more on the robots instead of the humans, but with Marky Mark in the film you know he has to have a lot of screen time.
