According to Comic Book Movie on Feb. 1, director Michael Bay of "Transformers: Age of Extinction", got on his Instagram account to announce a special "surpirse" during Super Bowl XLVIII. Chances are his misspelling of the word "surprise" for his posting may be due in part of the lingering after math of his meltdown on stage at the recent CES show. However, Bay isn't the only one in the world to suffer from some kind of performance anxiety and "Transformer" fans can look forward to something during the course of the sporting event.

This could either mean some extended footage of the film or perhaps a TV spot. One may wonder this could be the first look at the Dinobots. The only way to find out is on Super Bowl Sunday. One thing is for certain, that Grimlock will be at least one of the mechanized prehistoric creatures to debut in Bay's film and for those who didn't grow up in the 80s, Grimlock is a Transformer that transforms into a T-Rex and leads the Dinobots. The characteristics of the sentient robot is that of a speech impediment, great strength, and totally fearless.

"Transformers: Age of Extinction" is scheduled for release on June 27th, 2014.
