Tranquility in Las Vegas--the Trump International Hotel

The Strip view from a room at Trump International Las Vegas.

Across the street from the Fashion Show Mall and within a block of the Vegas Strip, the new all-suite Trump International Hotel is making its mark on Las Vegas. The gilded building bears “TRUMP” in giant letters across its side, proclaiming its individuality in a long line of massive, themed gaming hotels. The Trump is both a contender in Vegas luxury and, at the same time, stands apart from the pack as a serene place to relax and enjoy the city’s vibe.

Trump International’s fantastic location and the strategic orientation of the building allows for amazing Strip views from every room on one entire side of the hotel. The hotel is perpendicular to the Strip, giving hotel guests a full-on view of the glitz and glamour of the mega-watt hotels lit up in gorgeous excess up and down Las Vegas Boulevard.

The suites of the Trump International are spacious and range from studio suite to a three-room penthouse. The contemporary décor has the finesse guests expect from a luxury Las Vegas hotel and half have views that are anything but expected. They are, in a word, breathtaking. Because the hotel was originally built as a condo building for residential use, the rooms are made with high-quality finishes that would normally be reserved for everyday, long-term use. This initial purpose has also graced the Trump with a rare New York loft ambience.

The lobby of the Trump is all glam and very little noise due to the lack of cards and slot machines. Families with children and couples frequently stay here for peace and quiet close to the action. Pilar Ellis of the Trump International in Las Vegas is working on a Kids’ Program, which will make the Trump a stand-out destination for families. The program is extensive and thoughtfully attentive to the needs and wishes of Trump International’s youngest guests. Among the ideas currently on the table are milk and cookies upon arrival, Wii consoles in family-friendly rooms, a game and book check-out program, and a Kiddie Cocktail menu. A nanny service will round-out the program, allowing parents to have guilt-free nights out. When the children will also be out on the town, a list of fun and appropriate activities will be available from the concierge.

The happiness of your favorite pet is also of concern at Trump International. Dogs are catered to and always welcome. A Pampered Dog program is also in the works which may include such luxuries as a Trump ID tag and comfy canine bed.

The Trump International Las Vegas is the perfect place to be a part of the Vegas action by day and night and then retreat to all the comforts and quiet of a well-appointed home when it’s time to rest. Tranquility in Las Vegas is available and attainable at the Trump International.
