So early this morning, this author decided to go to the newest McDonald's in Monticello Minnesota USA. The author had the buck sausage burrito and the buck soft drink for breakfast. In the restaurant was a courtesy copy of the Minneapolis Star and Tribune. (The author doesn’t subscribe to the Minneapolis Star and Sickle because of its bias)
Anger overwhelmed this author upon seeing these two headlines next to each other on the front page above the fold:
1) S&P downgrades U.S. debt rating ( http://bit.ly/nCNPBT )
2) (Gov.) Dayton boosts Vikings stadium ( http://bit.ly/pt54jL )
This article began as a hyper-critical evaluation of elected officials. Upon reflection, it seems voters bear as much responsibility as do the Politicians.
Let's talk about the Vikings Stadium first. Saying that the author is not a proponent of using public money to finance any stadium so billionaire

Sports team owners can make a profit paying millionaire sports players to play kids' games is an vast understatement.
Simply our policy should be as follows: We do not negotiate with Terrorists, Hijackers, Kidnappers nor billionaire sports team owners who extort taxpayers for publicly financed stadiums.
As for why should everyone oppose publicly financing professional sports arenas:
First, if sports stadiums are economically viable, they are economically viable as private financing concerns.
Second, professional sports are not on the base rungs of Maslov's hierarchy of Needs ( http://bit.ly/q4pIaA ) for the overwhelming majority of Americans. Put another way, if we prioritize the budget items for the Government's Budget, a new football stadium does not make the top 999. (By the way, for the would-be detractors, in the interest of full disclosure the author is an avid football fan and played High School Football)
Thirdly, Public Financing of Stadiums represents a "Transfer of Wealth" from the average taxpayer to a small group of usually wealthy individuals. Put another way, it is unearned income otherwise known as welfare, in this case corporate welfare. Put yet another way, it is the theft of property from producers of value just to give the rewards of their hard labor to someone that has not earned it.
Fourth, if we negotiate with one sports stadium extortionist, soon all states and municipalities must agree to competing extortion demands and the only ones who benefit are the sports teams owners and the politicians they give kickbacks to.
Fifth, given all the budget cuts that must be made, it is foolish even consider another expenditure.
Which brings us to the angering aspect of these two headlines appearing next to each other on the front page, above the Fold, in the local newspaper.
WHAT ARE THESE POLITICIANS THINKING ADVANCING YET ONE MORE DEBT OBLIGATION UPON THE GOVERNMENT WHEN OUR CREDIT RATING AS A NATION HAS JUST BEEN DOWNGRADED?
WHAT ARE THESE MINNESOTA POLITICIANS THINKING WHEN THEY JUST BALANCED THE STATE BUDGET BY BORROWING MORE INSTEAD OF CUTTING EXPENSES OR INCREASING REVENUE?
Are these politicians just disconnected from financial reality?
Is it not clear to every citizen that our elected officials do not have the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE (http://bit.ly/np9lGS) in mind when they make these decisions? Is not this very type of thought process in advocating the Public Funding of a New Football Stadium symptomatic of what has led to the downgrading of the US Credit Rating?
And now we arrive at the matter of Standard and Poor's downgrading the Credit Rating of the USA.
Did no one learn anything from this most recent Minnesota State or US Federal Budget Crisis? Did WE THE PEOPLE not see that the both the Democrats and the Republicans are responsible for the dire financial straights our country finds itself in. The Democrats Tax and Spend. The Republicans Spend and Borrow. Do either of these strategies seem likely to resolve the financial problems our country is facing?
But the politicians are not solely responsible for getting us into these dire straights. Upon which you ask, "How are the voters accountable for any of this?" The response is, "By allowing your respective political party to handle you like trained seals." ( http://bit.ly/nPcrzL ) Offended you ask, "What is the basis for this "trained seal" allegation?"
If you were going to balance your own family budget, what are the steps you would take? Would you have to look at bank statements and expense receipts to see where your money is coming and going? [The author suggested a logical course for balancing Government Budgets in this article - Suggested Common Sense Resolution to the Federal and Minnesota Budget Impasse ( http://exm.nr/oF91zq )]
That having been said, "How many of you formed an opinion regarding how either the Federal or State of Minnesota Budget Crisis should be resolved?"
And upon what did you base that position?
Did you gather and study the facts and figures in a way similar to how you would do your own family budget?
Or did you act and react like trained seals... Responding to your trainer's commands to get a reward? Democrat trained seals wanting the "more spending" fish reward and Republican trained seals wanting the "no more taxes" fish reward. In the end, there you Democrat and Republican trained seals were, clapping your flippers, balancing the ball on your nose and barking at each other at the command of your trainers, aka, your respective political party operatives.
So if you did not do the necessary homework, how did you come to determine your opinion on the issue? ( Is there is anyone out their stupid enough to say the trust their elected politician?)
If you arrived at your position on the budget issue without doing any research and work yourself, you were "handled" by your political party's trainers. You responded like trained seals, conditioned to respond in a certain manner in exchange for a material or emotional "fish" reward they knew you would respond to. Your political trainers told you what to think and how the act and you performed in anticipation of the fish reward of your choice.
Your elected officials no longer represent you, they manage you like a herd of cattle for their benefit. They merely let you think you have free will. They only provide you the information that will lead you to the conclusion they want you to come to.
“The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self-administered by its victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully and unawaredly enslave themselves.” – Dresden James (http://bit.ly/pOz8De)
This author has previously tried to free his fellow citizens from the bondage of Edward Bernays style Propaganda, Indoctrination and Censorship [(Video (http://bit.ly/ogVy6z), Video (http://bit.ly/qBDHLx) and Video (http://bit.ly/nY9BjW)] in this article - WE THE PEOPLE TAR - Critical Thinking ( http://exm.nr/ny4q7y )
For those of you without the time to check out the links, The quick synopsis of how your government manages and manipulates you is by appealing to your emotional needs, fears and desires. They figure out what kind of fish reward you like and taunt you with it. Personal Welfare Fish? Corporate Welfare Fish? No New Taxes Fish? Pro-Choice Fish? Pro-Life Fish? Pro-Gay Marriage Fish? Pro-Doma Fish? What ever flavor fish reward your political party thinks you will like, that’s what they will offer you?
All you have to do is rally and vote for them? [ORT, ORT, ORT [[flipper claps]]]
Do you trained seals of both political parties realize how foolish you look when you clap your flippers together and bark angrily at each other on camera? Do any of you rank and file Republican or Democrat Party members have any power to change anything? No. How silly is it for Liberal and Conservative rank and file seals to bark at each other when neither has any power to change anything? Who has the power to make the changes? The Politicians.
The Politicians of both political parties have you rank and file trained seals barking at each other to distract you from barking at them. All you do when you rally and bark at each other at their command is provide them with "Sound bites" and "Photo Ops" which will be used to induce other citizens to make "emotional" rather than "logical" choices and decisions. And who benefits from all this "trained seal" behavior and the decisions made thereafter through peer pressure and emotion? The politicians.
As a matter of fact, WE THE PEOPLE have not really seen any budget negotiations. What WE THE PEOPLE have seen is politicians deciding who gets to use taxpayer money to buy the kind of fish their constituents want to be rewarded with. And which of their campaign contributors gets to keep their sweetheart government contract instead of being cut. In other words, buying your own votes (or campaign contributions) with your own taxpayer money. It is comparable to seal catching a fish, giving it to its trainer, and then doing tricks for its trainer to get the fish back. Do you feel silly yet?
Why are all of you trained seals out there allowing the politicians to play you for chumps? You young men out there in the midst of posturing among your peers to demonstrate your physical and psychological superiority in the pecking order, "Why do you let your politicians steal your money and play you for chumps?". As for you older adults of both sexes, "Why do you let the politicians manipulate you to their benefit and wrongfully take your hard earned money?"
What's that? You say you don't feel like chumps yet? Let me help you understand how badly you are being chumped.
Democrats tell their constituents they are for the little guy and we should tax the rich more to help out the little guy because the rich guy have more than they need.
Republicans tell their constituents that it is unfair to give unearned money (welfare) to some people by taking it away from the people that earned it.
You trained seals are so busy following the directions of your political trainers that you don't understand what is really going on and what they are distracting you from. Here is one huge example:
Only Congress has the Constitutional Power to Print our Money. [ Article 1 Section 8 US Constitution http://bit.ly/oNpVHt ] Though our money is supposed to be backed by specie ( http://bit.ly/okuoBq ), at the present time the only cost to our Government (WE THE PEOPLE) for printing the paper money should be paper, ink and labor. The cost to stamp coins should only be the metal and the labor. The US Mint ( http://1.usa.gov/n2FfjI ) makes the Coins and the US Bureau of Engraving ( http://bit.ly/ocYZ56 ) makes the US Dollars.
Instead, the Federal Reserve Bank places orders with the Mint and the Bureau and pays the bill for the printing. ( http://bit.ly/oz4uae ) The Mint and the Bureau Deliver the Money to the Federal Reserve Bank. The Federal Reserve Bank dispenses the money through the 12 Federal Reserve Region Banks and by buying bonds from the Government. The Federal Reserve Bank creates a lot more money with simple electronic entries. Our Government gets back the money it needs by giving the Federal Reserve Bank bonds which bear interest. Essentially, for the cost of ink, paper, metal and labor the Federal Reserve bank gets to charge interest on every dollar it pays to have printed for every year of the term of the bond the government issued to get said dollar back from the Federal Reserve Bank.
The Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned. In other words, private banks skim a percentage of the USA economy off into their own pockets simply for paying the actual expenses of printing our currency. [Video here ( http://bit.ly/qgqzNn ) and here ( http://bit.ly/oyyCLx)]
The private owners of the private Federal Reserve Bank are willing to do anything, even kill, to keep their unearned profits (welfare) flowing to them. ( Credit River Minnesota USA case http://bit.ly/mUSfjB )
How do you feel about 5 cents (conservative estimate) of every dollar you get being taken from you by private owners of the Federal Reserve Bank before you ever even get it in your hands?
Why didn't this come up in all the budget crises discussions?
If we are just going to print fiat money not backed by gold or silver, the only expense to WE THE PEOPLE should be the cost of materials and labor. Why do WE THE PEOPLE have to borrow money that WE THE PEOPLE print from a privately owned Federal Reserve Bank? How is it in the best interest of WE THE PEOPLE to pay interest to a private bank for printing money only our Congress is authorized to print? Why should private wealthy elites receive unearned money off the backs of WE THE PEOPLE? Why is the private Federal Reserve Bank majority owned by persons who are not US Citizens?
The unconstitutional and unjust Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913. The unconstitutional Federal Income Tax was passed in 1913. Wake up America. The Federal Income Tax was passed to pay the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.
You Democrat trained seals, I thought Democrats stood for helping the little guy at the expense of the rich?
You Republican trained seals, I thought the Republicans said it was unfair for some people to get unearned money from people that earned it?
Are you, my fellow citizens, angry yet? Do you feel betrayed by your elected officials and your political parties have allowed this to continue?
“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it” Adolf Hitler quotes (German Chancellor, leader of the Nazi party, 1889-1945) (http://bit.ly/r3IsP8)
Both the Republican and the Democrat elites are aware of this unconstitutional unjust enrichment of wealthy private banker elites. And both political parties allow this situation of the plundering of the hard earned money of WE THE PEOPLE, the general public, by the private wealthy bankers to go on.
And now ponder why the politicians would let this go on? Do you think that some of that enormous amount of money is flowing back to the politicians and political parties in exchange for letting this injustice continue? Why do you think the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank will not allow itself to be audited? Why do you think our Congress has for so long resisted voting to force the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank to be audited? [Document (http://on.wsj.com/nrSaB2), Video (http://bit.ly/qA3Wrt), Video (http://bit.ly/niyDQ0)] Do you think an audit of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank might show mismanagement, waste, fraud and kickbacks to US Congress people?
If you still not get it, think of it this way -- Regardless of Political Party, your elected officials and Government Bureaucrats think of you as "just subject oafs, serfs, peasants and jesters on the Federal Reserve Bank Feudal Estate (Plantation). They just let you think you are free.
Still not angry? Remember all that angst and stress WE THE PEOPLE went through over unemployment, Social Security Cuts, Medicare Cuts, the deficits, budget crises and the S&P lowering the credit rating of the USA? How many of you heard about the following?
(2012 Presidential Candidate) Ron Paul Wants to Cancel Fictitious Debt to Fed... and Lower Limit Accordingly (http://bit.ly/pQc35b)
Remember our 14 Trillion dollar Federal Debt? Did you know that $1.6 Trillion of that 14 Trillion dollars is owed to the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank? (Who knows how much interest we have paid over the last 10-20 years) Remember our Social Security and Medicare Problems? Apparently the Democrat and Republican elites would rather some rich private bankers who own the Federal Reserve Bank have that money (so the bankers can give the politicians kickbacks) than honor the promises the made to all of WE THE PEOPLE who contributed to Social Security and Medicare all of our lives.
"Give Presidential nominee Ron Paul credit for innovation. He has introduced a bill that would cancel the nation’s $1.6 trillion dollar debt to the Federal Reserve and simultaneously lower the debt limit by the same amount.
HR 2768 would do just that. Recently, Rep. Paul argued, 'Where did they get the money to buy our debt? They created it our of thin air. Taxpayers keep working hard to pay interest to the Federal Reserve as well as finance these bonds. I would say that is not a real debt. It’s a fictitious debt. It’s a dishonest debt, and we’re not obligated'.”
Still not angry at your own political party and elected US Congress folks?
GAO Audit Reveals Fed Loaned $16 Trillion to (Foreign and Domestic) Banks (in the past 3 years) (http://bit.ly/pFnoaD )
'As a result of this audit, we now know that the Federal Reserve provided more than $16 trillion in total financial assistance to some of the largest financial institutions and corporations in the United States and throughout the world,' said Sanders. 'This is a clear case of socialism for the rich and rugged, you're-on-your-own individualism for everyone else.'"

What should WE THE PEOPLE, the Voters, do about this situation?
But still you ask, "How can voters be held accountable for what is happening?" The response is, "What good will come out of blaming the politicians? Are they going to change? As long as WE THE PEOPLE, the voters, act like trained seals and fail to see past the immediate fish rewards dangled before us, Politicians are going to continue to act as they do now."
- Recognize that WE THE PEOPLE have been manipulated and betrayed by both major Political Parties.
- Stop allowing ourselves to be manipulated and betrayed by both major political parties;
- Form our opinions and cast our votes based on fact, not emotion, and only in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE.
1. Recognize that WE THE PEOPLE have been manipulated and betrayed by both major Political Parties.
“A truth’s initial commotion is directly proportional to how deeply the lie was believed. When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker, a raving lunatic. –Dresden James (http://bit.ly/piLgAc)
Within this article it has been demonstrated that WE THE PEOPLE have been manipulated through our emotions of need, fear and desire. The two political parties have pitted the rank and file of WE THE PEOPLE against each other to achieve their own agenda. They have divided, conquered, distracted and enslaved us with polarizing debates on the likes of abortion, gay marriage, race and religion.
Another Strategy the political parties have used on WE THE PEOPLE involves treating words and the meanings of words as did Humpty Dumpty from "Alice in Wonderland - Through the Looking Glass":
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master - - that's all."
(Through the Looking Glass, Chapter 6)(http://bit.ly/qsg7yO)
or, if you prefer the words of a Founding Father,
"How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!" Samuel Adams (1722-1803), Father of the US Revolution (http://bit.ly/oSVQcF)
Our Politicians misname legislation, laws and bills to make them appear to be in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE, when they are not.
The politicians have a way of misusing words and phases, too. Former Democrat President Clinton wondered in a sworn deposition, "What is "is"? Former Republican President Nixon said with regard to Watergate, "I am not a crook". Clearly our politicians have a very loose association with the truth and the meanings of common English words.
Consider the words they use to describe aspects of the American Political strata: Liberal, Conservative, Republican, Democrat, Terrorist, Freedom Fighter, TEA Party, Coffee Party have had their meaning and realities twisted, perverted and changed by the two major ruling parties.
As an American the two major political parties would have the individual believe that they have but to viable political party choices.
As a Republican, The individual must be financially conservative, against abortion and Pro-DOMA.
As a Democrat, The individual must be for Big Government, for taxing the Rich, Pro-Abortion and for Gay marriage.
As a TEA Partier, the individual must be a Republican Terrorist.
As a Coffee Partier, the individual must be a Progressive Democrat Radical Extremist.
Shouldn't the individual be free to define themselves and not be pigeon holed by party affiliation?
All of these labels and definition are only for the purposes of further dividing and conquering WE THE PEOPLE.
And then there is the constant barrage of information used to make each individual feel over-whelmed.
And infliction of fear is a specific tactic of Edward Bernays style public manipulation. It is intended to numb and paralyze the individual and make the individual incapable of making decisions because the individual does not know what is real and what is false.
Finally, there is the ever increasing taxes and regulations. When the individual and couples spend all their time earning enough money to make a living and/or filling at forms to comply with regulations, they have less time and energy be informed and hold politicians accountable.
2. Stop allowing ourselves to be manipulated and betrayed by both major political parties.
As we have said, it is of no value to blame politicians for the current state of affairs. WE THE PEOPLE have to be responsible for correcting this situation because the politicians are not going to change any time soon.
We must think critically about everything our politicians and major media tell us. The politicians and political parties have demonstrated their willingness to betray WE THE PEOPLE. WE THE PEOPLE must treat everything they say like a move in a chess game. Rather than accept it at face value, We must ask, "What is what they are saying, doing or promising us now, setting us up for later?
Next, WE THE PEOPLE must unite together and stand in opposition to the politicians. Stop accepting the divisive stereotypes that the two major parties inflict upon us. WE THE PEOPLE must not allow them to divide and conquer us on other issues until our financial house is in order. Edward Bernays declared how easily he rallied the American Public to be in favor of entering WWI in a few months, when the American General Public had become staunchly isolationist. From this he declared, that if propaganda could be used so effectively in war time, it could certainly be used in peace time.
Where are the great leaders such as those that United WE THE PEOPLE against a common enemy for WWI and WWII? Is there no leader to come forward and instead of using all the resources of the Government and major media to divide WE THE PEOPLE, instead used those resources to UNITE WE THE PEOPLE in this time of adversity?
Instead of engaging in divisive politics, WE THE PEOPLE must identify the issues that unite us. To resolve our country's current financial problems, we are going to have to get past the emotions, crunch the numbers, discuss solutions and calmly agree on what to fund and what taxes are necessary to increase.
Being honest with each other, "How many of us have seen the actual numbers in our State and Federal Budgets? How can any of us say the rich are not being taxed enough or what should be cut if we cannot see the actual figures? " Can we agree that requiring all Federal, State and Municipal (City, County, School, Airport, Port Authorities, Metro Councils) Governments on the internet in layman’s terms with no aggregates is the first step to WE THE PEOPLE making informed decisions as to what expenditures should be cut and what taxes should be increased?
Further, can we agree that our auditors (the people that are supposed to police our finances) have been compromised by the unethical quid pro quo politics that have infested our Government and been deliberately made ineffective by rules that neutralize their power. If the politicians, auditors, administrators, apparatchiks and bureaucrats can't find the waste and fraud in the budget, 300,000,000 rank and file Americans will. WE THE PEOPLE must not allow them to divide and conquer us with other issues until we restore transparency and accountability to our Government.
For those of you that are sufficiently angry and motivated, We close this section with the following thought:
There are not two major political, but rather one incumbent ruling class with two heads, elephant and donkey. The heads are changed from time to time to give the appearance of political revolution to circumvent actual violent revolution. Regardless of which head appears to be in charge, the same people are making the decisions behind the scenes. And they are not acting in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE.
3) Form our opinions and cast our votes based on fact, not emotion, and only in the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE.
Lets keep things simple.
First, research what is written here to verify it is true and correct. If you are so inclined, contact your Elected officials and ask them to confirm or deny in writing that what is written here is true or false.
For those concerned about retaliation and anonymity, all that is necessary for you to do is persuade your friends and family to our cause and then vote and make sure they vote according to your now newly enlightened beliefs.
May the following be suggested to you:
- Ending or Nationalizing the Federal Reserve Bank would seem to be an issue 99% of WE THE PEOPLE could agree upon.
- Restoring Financial Transparency and Accountability would seem like an issue 90% of WE THE PEOPLE could agree Upon.
The author would propose that WE THE PEOPLE frame the 2012 election as a referendum on at least these 2 issues. You can read the other 4 primary issues of WE THE PEOPLE TAR here - WE THE PEOPLE TAR - A true, grassroots, Non-partisan poltical movement.(http://exm.nr/rb6dzs)
Next, please be reminded that both the Republicans and Democrats have known about this betrayal since 1913. Both Parties at various times had the political majorities to correct this flagrant betrayal of WE THE PEOPLE. Neither Party did so.
Being so advised, the author suggests this voting paradigm shift. Please make sure that every vote you cast from now until the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank is either ended or nationalized and, until financial information of the Federal, State and Municipal Governments are posted on the internet in layman’s' terms with no aggregates of greater than $100, be a vote against all incumbents regardless of political party. THIS IS THE HIGHLY PREFERRED RECOMMENDED COURSE OF ACTION.
For those too uncomfortable to leave the comfort of their political party nest, may it be reluctantly suggested that you write to your Federal, State and Local Representative and ask them to sign a pledge to take these 2 actions before the end of their next term. If they fail to do so, your choice is obvious. If they do so, but do not make good on their pledge by the end of their next term, vote them out of office.
In the interest of full disclosure, the author advises you of having been a Republican and a member of the TEA Party Movement. The author would further advise you that he no longer is a member of the TEA Party because the Republicans opposed the issues of Judicial Reform and Accountability, the previously mentioned required posting of Municipal Budgets, actual spending and actual revenue on the internet, and finally the auditing, ending and/or Nationalizing of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.
By what is written here, the author believes the any liberal or Democrat allegations that all TEA Partiers being Right Wing Nut Terrorists is purely propaganda solely aimed at dividing and conquering WE THE PEOPLE. Transparency, Accountability, the Rule of Law and ending the unjust enrichment of private bankers via the Federal Reserve Bank laudable aspirations regardless of political disposition.
The author humbly begs your forgiveness for using the terms "trained seals" and "chumps" to get your attention.
Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what I have written.
Please join with me in mutually pledging to each other and our fellow citizens our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor to our mutual endeavors of restoring liberty and economic opportunity to WE THE PEOPLE as our Founding Fathers envisioned and intended.
