Trained German Shepherd waiting for rescue in Northern California (Video)

A five year old German Shepherd is homeless and running out of time and no rescue is able to help. The dog's owner lost her housing and left the dog at her grandmother's. Unfortunately the dog is now sequestered to the back yard and with little socialization has started jumping the fence as a result of his isolation. To prevent him from escaping the yard he is now being kept in a crate and has started howling. Complaints from neighbors are threatening to cost this once loved dog his home. He is trained, loves to work, and is experienced abandonment. An experienced German Shepherd Foster is urgently needed by this weekend or his fate is dire.

The Northern California German Shepherd Dog Rescue said that he needs to be dropped off at a shelter as he would be a private party turn in. Those networking to find him a new home or foster are apprehensive about leaving him at a shelter after what the dog has gone through recently.
