Home Health Care Aides perform a wide variety of simple care tasks for individuals who require care at home. Home Health Care Aides typically assist the chronically ill, disabled, or elderly. They perform light duties such as bathing and dressing, and do light housekeeping.
The average annual salary for a Home Health Care Aide is around $20,000 a year.
The SouthWest Skill Center provides training to be a Home Health Care Aide. The program consists of an 80 hour training program that will equip the students with all the knowledge and skills to be Home Health Care Aide. In addition to the training, the program will prepare students to sit for certification testing, which will allow them to be licensed and available for work in the field.
The cost of the program is $915.00.
