According to a Feb. 11 report from Sportsgrid.com, the lovely Kate Upton appears in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue First Look video preview, which features Train's gorgeous new tune, "Mermaid."
Sports Illustrated has just launched their annual iconic Swimsuit Issue video first look, featuring Train's newest hit single "Mermaid" as the official song. Train fans can check out the tune on YouTube, by following this link.
There's a lot to like about the video, as Train sounds excellent and Upton looks as beautiful as ever.
The San Francisco-based band will also be hitting the road this summer on the massive Mermaids of Alcatraz tour, headlining amphitheaters across the United States in July and August.
Train has enlisted its fans for the summer tour to dress up as mermaids to win seat upgrades and more at each of the shows.
It's a fun idea that is catching on nationwide, as it brings a new level to band-fan interaction.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets for the Mermaids of Alcatraz tour went on sale on Feb. 5 via Ticketmaster.
Train's upcoming tour opens on July 17 in Cleveland, Ohio, at the Blossom Music Center, before coming to Long Island's Jones Beach Theater on July 23.
The tour concludes on Aug. 14 in Auburn, Wash., at the White River Amphitheater.
