The band Train was seen in Times Square on New Year’s Eve for a special performance. Helping ring in the New Year, the fun performance was on the NIVEA Kiss Stage where thousands of fans could see the stars sing during the evening and fans at home could see the performance on NBC. Earlier on Monday, the band let everyone know they were excited about the performance as it was for the band’s new single Mermaid.
“Getting ready for our New Year's performance in Times Square,” tweeted Train from the band’s official Twitter account. The opportunity to be part of the big event had fans of the band tuning in early for the New Year’s Eve festivities.
All eyes are on Times Square on Monday night as the Big Apple counts down to the New Year. With 2013 being only hours away, the fans were offered extraordinary performances from big entertainers and even a few surprises like hearing a new single from a popular band.
