On Wednesday, Nov 20, a Virgin train derailed and plowed into buffers at Chester station. Emergency services were called to the station shortly after midday following reports that a five-carriage train had derailed.
"The incident took place at approximately 12.10 p.m. on the Virgin Trains service from London Euston to Chester.A statement from British Transport Police said: "All coaches of the five-car train have remained upright.
