Train announces summer 2013 North American tour dates

On Jan. 31 the American pop-rock band Train announced headlining tour dates for the summer of 2013. The North American "Mermaids of Alcatraz" tour begins in Cleveland, Ohio on July 17 and ends in Auburn, Wash. on Aug. 14. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.

During Train's summer 2013 "Mermaids of Alcatraz" tour the band will perform 19 headlining shows over a month long time span. The Script will provide direct support on the entire tour and singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw will open all shows.

Train will be touring in support of their sixth studio album, "California 37" which was released on April 17, 2012 via Columbia Records. The album debuted at No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Pre-sale tickets for the "Mermaids Of Alcatraz" tour go on sale beginning Feb. 5. The pre-sale code is "Mermaid". Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Feb. 8 and 9. For more information about the tour visit Train's official website here.
