Actor Darrin Henson is bitten by the love bug in the upcoming romantic comedy “Black Coffee” from writer-director Mark Harris. The trailer for the film which also stars Christian Keyes (“Note to Self”), Gabrielle Dennis (“The Game”), Lamman Rucker (Why Did I Get Married?”) and Erica Hubbard (“Let’s Stay Together”) was released on Tuesday Dec. 17.
Henson stars as Robert whose love life and career is in shambles after he’s let go from a business his father started and loses his relationship on the same day. As fate would have it he meets Morgan (Dennis) who seemingly enters his life at just the right time however their pasts could threaten their budding romance.
Henson is best known to fans for his roles in the hit movie “Stomp the Yard” and the popular television series “Soul Food”. He was also the 2009 mentor for the Birmingham, Alabama film camp program On the Set in which a Hollywood celebrity lends their expertise to aspiring young filmmakers.
