9th Annual LA Femme International Film Festival will honor Michelle Vicary, Terri Polo, Sara Rue and Judy Reyes at their Awards Show and Gala event on October 20, 2013. The event will begin at 7pm at Renberg Theatre 1125 N. McCadden Place, Los Angeles, CA 90038. The Red Carpet will begin at 6 pm.

Host for the award show is comedian Sandra Valls. Other guest performers are classical guitarists Carlos Gonzales and Juanita Wooten along with Alana Hyland and burlesque fusion dance company The Show Off Dolls.
LA Femme Celebrity Honorees
Michelle Vicary will receive the LA Femme Executive Achievement Award. As the Executive Vice President of Programming for Crown Media Family Networks, she is instrumental to the success of the original programming and production for the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel.
Judy Reyes will receive the LA Femme Lupe Ontiveros Image Award. This award was established last year to recognize Latinas in the Media Industry. Reyes was a main cast member on the hit series “Scrubs” for eight seasons. Now, she is with the cast of “Devious Maids”, a new drama fro producer Marc Cherry Lifetime.
Sara Rue will receive the LA Femme Comedic Actress Award. Rue is seen in numerous currently sitcoms - “Less Than Perfect”, Two and a Half Men”, “The Big Bang Theory and “Rules of Engagement”
Teri Polo will receive the LA Femme Innovative Award. Her role on the new family drama for ABC Family “The Fosters” is groundbreaking. Polo has played the love interest of Ben Stiller and the daughter of Robert De Niro in the Meet the Parents Trilogy.
