In what comes across like an episode of "Nashville" meets the "Sopranos," 'Mindy McCready' popular country music star is caught up in a murder investigation.It began when her boyfriend she lived with at her lakeside home in Heber Springs, Ark.,died of a gunshot wound to the head,on Jan. 13. Mindy famous for the hit," A Girl's Gotta Do (What a Girl's Gotta Do)," as well as the Top Ten hit "Guys Do It All the Time", alledges that she had nothing to do with the his horrible death.Claiming that her lover David Wilson committed suicide,all reminicent to her classic 1996 song,"Ten Thousand Angels".
According to official reports, cops investigating the death have not made that determination and have not ruled out murder. Still according to a reliable source the determination for now is that David Wilson’s death was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Mindy McCready has denied in an interview with NBC News that she had anything to do with his death. Since his passing, Mindy admitted she's been over indulging in drinking alcohol because she was still mourning David's passing.Whom,three weeks before he died, David Wilson had been himself arrested. Investigators indicated that the bullet that killed David was not found until the following day and suggested someone could have held onto it before turning it over to police.
Cleburne County Sheriff's office confirmed to the media that the case is a very high-profile and will be investigated as thoroughly as possible. It could take weeks for the state crime lab to complete their tests on the victim's body.

Her two children were removed from her care by family services after the country singer was committed to a to a treatment facility for a mental-health and alcohol-abuse evaluation according to an official release.
This wasn't Mindy's first time on the troubled dance floor, on December 17, 2008, paramedics were called to Mindy's Nashville home after an apparent suicide attempt; they transported her to a hospital after finding wounds on her wrists.After that McCready appeared in the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, which aired in January and February 2010 and depicting her struggle with substance addiction. Sadly since this was written Feb.7, to make matters worse former country star apparently took her own life on Sunday ,Feb 17,at her home . Authorities in Heber Springs, Ark., say Mindy died of a possible self-inflicted gunshot to the head and an autopsy is planned. She was 37, and left behind two young sons.
