Trae Edwards has announced the independent release of his debut album, I Believed, which is now available at music retailers, including digital music stores like www.iTunes.com, www.Amazon.com and Google Play.
Edwards, a well-known, Nashville session singer, stylistically blends contemporary Country with light Rock and Southern Gospel.
“I’ve waited a long time to tell my own story and share things that really move me,” said Trae Edwards of I Believed. “I live by the rule, ‘if you can touch a heart you can touch a life.’ I always believed that the time would come, and it just felt like this was the right time.”
Produced by Edwards and George Hairr, the 11-song debut has already garnered praise from www.GotCountryOnline.com, and from industry insiders, such as legendary agent/manager Buck Williams, CAA’s Blake McDaniel and songwriter Jeremy Dean.

Edwards began singing at the age of 5 at a PTA meeting in Oxford, Alabama. It wasn’t long before he started performing regularly in church and school. His talent also earned him a vocal scholarship to Jacksonville State University.
After winning the Male Vocalist Competition in the Charlie Daniels Country Talent Round-Up, Edwards moved to Nashville and calls it his home. He has had a successful 20-year career as a session singer, a sought-after photographer and graphic artist. He has also shared the stage with such country stars like Alison Krauss, Naomi Judd, Wynonna, Trace Adkins, Joe Diffee, Tracey Lawrence, among others. He is also featured on several of the top-selling Gaither "Homecoming" video and DVD releases.
