Roscoe Pond (Examiner)

The Funk & Soul group called “Orgone” had the audience of “Stage 49” up & dancing. All before pop singer Inez Jasper took the stage. Orgone had the audience dancing at intermission with “Billy Jean” by Michael Jackson. Several male native teens began to break dance solo to an enthusiastic crowd who held up their iphones. Native kids jumped into their own dance moves too.

There was a “Soul Train” line dance started & Roscoe Pond put down his digital camera to join in. He was asked to go first through the line showing his old, old moves. Roscoe had won several dance contests back in his youth. He gave it his all & realized that he shocked the crowd with some pretty good moves. Several girls whooped & hollared. He went through the line twice “gettin' down” before Inez took the stage with some cool pop music.
