CMA and ACM trophy-winner Tracy Lawrence will headline a benefit show Wednesday, Feb. 22, for Operation Troop Aid at the Cadillac Ranch, 305 Broadway.
Now in its fifth year, the “Tracy Lawrence & Friends” concert for the troops is free and open to the public, and Mark Woods, founder and CEO of the nonprofit Operation Troop Aid will serve as the host for this year's event.
As for Lawrence's role in the benefit, the patriotic country star told Examiner.com, "Operation Troop Aid is an ambassador of hope to our military through the care packages they provide. I am honored to lend a hand to help benefit our troops."
Set to get under way at 6 p.m., the show will feature not only the hit-making Lawrence, whose chart-toppers include "Paint Me A Birmingham," "Sticks and Stones" and "Find Out Who Your Friends Are," but also Lexi James, Kaleb Hensley & II Smokin’ Barrels, Stephen Cochran and Cody McCarver. Additionally, several surprise guests and artists reportedly will be stopping by Nashville's Cadillac Ranch to join in the festivities.
