Tracy DiMarco and Gigi Liscio talk about the premiere of ‘Jerseylicious’

Tracy DiMarco and Gigi Liscio, two stars from Style Network’s hit reality series “Jerseylicious," are all a-twitter about Monday night’s season five premiere. On Jan. 27, DiMarco tweeted, “Who’s excited for the Season 5 premiere of Jerseylicious tomorrow?” To get the hype going, she challenged her fans to retweet about the premiere and agreed to follow them back on Twitter. Earlier in the week, Gigi Liscio talked about her favorite “Jerseylicious” girl, her favorite cocktail and the perfect girls’ night out in advance of Monday’s premiere. She also offered dating advice to her fans.

When season 5 of “Jerseylicious” premieres on Monday, weddings, new loves and all new drama take center stage. The fifth season begins with an episode titled “Two’s Company, Gigi’s a Crowd.” Anthony Lombardo celebrates his 40th birthday with a casino-themed party. Meanwhile, Tracy DiMarco shops for a wedding dress and Gigi finds herself at odds with Tracy and Olivia. The second episode of season five is called “The Naked Truth.” Anthony asks Olivia to be a guest make-up artist at an event and Gigi confronts Tracy about her wedding.

It looks like “Jerseylicious” will feature a lot more of Gigi Liscio during season five. She was once engaged to Frankie Buglione Jr., but now she’s flying solo. Gigi claims that her favorite “Jerseylicious” character is Cathy Giove because she’s so dramatic. Concerning dating, she advises fans to be open with their dates. “Ask a lot of questions and play it cool.” She also says that her favorite cocktail is Grey Goose and club because it’s simple and has no calories. As of Jan. 28, Gigi has 94,607 Twitter followers and 58,243 Facebook fans.

Tracy DiMarco, the outspoken hairstylist and true blue Jersey girl, will also play an important role on this season of “Jerseylicious.” Currently, Tracy has a huge fan base of 111,760 people that follow her every move on Twitter. On season five, fans can watch as she plans her wedding to Corey Eps, whom she met on the set of “Jerseylicious” after being introduced to him by Filippo Giove Jr.

The entire cast of “Jerseylicious” will gather Monday night at 46 Lounge to watch the big premiere. Camz Creations has baked a special cake for the party and Olivia will perform the “Jerseylicious” song for the very first time. Anthony Lombardi tweeted on Monday morning, “It all goes down tonight!” Stars from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," "Glam Fairy" and "Big Rich Texas" will also be on hand at the red carpet event.

“Jerseylicious” debuted on the Style Network on March 21, 2010 and more than 300,000 viewers tuned in for the series launch. Last year, “Jerseylicious” delivered an impressive +110% increase in total viewers and season four was the most watched season ever.

“Jerseylicious” premieres at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, Jan. 28 on the Style Network. The show has been moved from Sunday to Monday nights for the new 2013 season.
