This month is your last opportunity to visit Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City for just $1 every Wednesday. The aviary's Winter Wednesday promotion only continues through March, and the full amount of the $1 admission is used to promote the aviary's bird conservation programs. On Wednesdays, the complete schedule of events, including bird feedings, flight shows, keeper talks and more, is available, and guests can enjoy all of the aviary's exhibits, including Owl Forest, the South American Pavilion, Kennecott Wetlands and King of the Andes.
Winter Wednesdays aren't the only events coming up this month for bird-lovers to enjoy. On Thursday, March 20, 2014, admission to the aviary will be $1 for the Love UT, Give UT Partners Picnic to introduce aviary supporters to other related nonprofit organizations. The event will be held at Chase Mill from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and snacks and treats will be available. Book and Bird events as well as keeper talks and other shows will also be held that day.
The Spring Wing Fling is scheduled for March 29, 2014, and will include not only all the aviary's usual fun and entertainment, but also a range of children's craft projects, activities and bird song sing-a-longs to celebrate the music of birds and the enjoyment of spring migration. Regular admission prices apply.
