Traci Braxton sits down with News One Now and dishes about her amazing 64 pound weight loss. According to News One on Dec. 30, 2013, the star claims that dieting was not easy for her, but she had to do it for herself, and her family.
Traci Braxton credits her weight loss to being dedicated to the process. She worked out three times a week. She is a diabetic, so she ate a healthy and balanced diet to control her blood sugar and shed weight. The diet and exercise paid off, Braxton lost a total of 64 pounds.
She claims she could see she was gaining weight, but did not stop eating. She wanted to feel sexier and feel better about herself. She also wanted to be able to keep up with her family and be more active.
Traci Braxton urged women to realize that diet pills are not the answer. She said you should definitely consult a doctor before taking any medication, over the counter or otherwise. Some of the medications do not mix with your blood pressure or diabetic medications, and can kill you. Safety should be your number one priority. Losing weight through diet and exercise is the safest way.
