Tomorrow is Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year in 2009, and Home Depot, Kmart, Sears, Target, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Home Depot have announced every item that will part of of their Black Friday sale. Many stores open early on Black Friday and some as early as midnight, see store hours below. Doorbuster sale items are only offered for the first few hours the store is open, and are extremely limited.
Last Christmas was one of the worst on record for retail sales, and now many stores are trying to ensure that there will be a large increase this year. Many retailers want to make the most of getting retailers into their stores for Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year.
Black Friday Store hours:
Walmart will open at 6 am on Thanksgiving and stay open through Black Friday, November 27.
Toys R Us will be open at midnight on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving).
Best Buy will open at 5 am, but will use a ticket policy for those waiting in line outside before that (tickets will be issued within 2 hours of opening, each store will decide what time they will give those tickets out).
Target will open at 5 am on Black Friday.
