Even though July is not over, Chicago families are already preparing for the coming school year by shopping for back-to-school backpacks, school bags, and satchels. Here are some of the best deals on fun and stylish backpacks for kids.
School backpack sales
During the Kohl's character backpack sale, children can save on bags featuring popular characters and media figures including Spider-Man and iCarly. Kohl's is also offering deals on backpack brands like adidas, JanSport, and Nike.
As part of their Back-to-School sale, Target is offering savings on a variety of backpacks. Walmart is also holding a backpack promotion during which the price of many of their school bags has been rolled back to $9.
Free lunch bag deals
While supplies last, Toys R Us is throwing in a free lunch kit when customers purchase any backpack priced $12.99 or more (excluding adidas products). Through July 28, 2009, the online retailer Garnet Hill is also offering a free lunch pack with the purchase of any of their signature backpacks, as well as free shipping.
