Toyota Antics Block Party closes out the Culture Collide Festival

The Culture Collide Festival has been a smashing success in it's sophomore year, and we hate to see it come to an end, but our saddness is lessened by the knowledge that once again, the Toyota Antics Block Party is returning to help us bid farewell for another year to Filter Magazines 3-day musical gift to our city.

The block party hosts some of the festivals best artists in its second annual incarnation, the official close of Filter Magazine's Culture Collide Festival and happens today, Sunday, Oct. 9, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Reservoir Street (between Sunset Blvd. and Alvarado Street) in the Echo Park neighborhood of LA. Headliners CSS and Clap Your Hands Say are joined at the free with RSVP Echo Park event by Gang Gang Dance, Datarock, Avi Buffalo and The Asteroids Galaxy Tour among others.

Along with top musical talent from around the globe, the Toyota Antics Block Party will feature Toyota vehicles with retro-themed activations for fans to enjoy. The roster of vehicles includes a transformed Toyota Matrix doubling as a Zoltar fortune-telling booth, a Toyota Corolla custom photo booth station and a Toyota Yaris "Say-That-Song-Game-Show" live competition. In addition, attendees can enjoy customized art exhibits, iron-on t-shirts and win prizes including an iPad 2 and more.
