The Disney/Pixar film “Toy Story” is arguably one of the best animated films to hit the theaters in the past 25 years. When the film hit the big screen in 1995 it won a special achievement Academy Award for the development of the first feature-length computer-animated film, and of course it made a boat-load at the box office. With two sequels, a slew of toys and merchandise it's clear that “Toy Story” made a huge impact on the animated film genre, and really on movie making in general.
If you are a “Toy Story” fan, then you absolutely must take a look at this version. It is a lovingly recreated shot-for-shot remake of “Toy Story,” except it was made with real toys and live actors. The project, called the “TS Project” began in 2010 and recently launched on You Tube. Created by Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta, this labor of love is a tremendous accomplishment and totally worth your time, especially if you are a fan of the original film.
