"Toy Story" fans can look forward to a Pixar "Toy Story" Halloween special, "Toy Story of Terror" that is set to premiere Wednesday Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. according to Wednesday, Sept 4 MSN Entertainment reports.
The "Toy Story" Halloween special will be a 30-minute short that will movie favorites including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie the Cowgirl taking on an eerie adventure.
The toy gang all head to Bonnie's grandma's house, when things get spooky and one of the toys disappears.
Galyn Susman the producer of the special stated:
"Toy Story of Terror" follows the adventures of the toys post-Toy Story 3, in which a fun road trip takes a very unexpected turn. "Bonnie is on a road trip to go see grandma with her mom, and the toys are in the trunk.
"Mom gets a flat tire and they have to spend the night at a motel, and all kinds of chaos ensues."
The entire gang of toys will then themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate.
Susman revealed that the creators took inspiration from the horror genre that includes — "Psycho:, "Aliens" and Predator, in particular — but found the right balance for both adults and children world wide to enjoy this Halloween season.
Set your DVR's and mark your calendars for the"Toy Story of Terror" airing on Wednesday Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
