Evenflo along with the CPSC are recalling exersaucers manufactured by Evenflo for babies ages 4 months and up.  The 1-2-3 Tea For Me exersaucer is tea party themed in pink and other bright colors that include a cake, teapot, and flower toys.  The exersaucer contains parts on the toy that can break off duing play that are considered a choking hazard for babies.

Recall Information

Evenflo is recalling over 60,000 exersaucers that pose a choking hazard if the candle's pretend flame detaches while being played with.  The activity center includes a cake toy that is light blue, dark pink and yellow.

Models included in the recall are 6161834 and 6161920. Parents can find the model number on the box and on the bottom of the activity center.  This recall does NOT include cake toys on 1-2-3 Tea for Me ExerSaucers with model number 6163920.  The activity centers involved in the recall were purchased between December 2007 and March 2009.

What Consumers Need To Do

Parents need to detach the cake toy immediately.  Babies should not play in the activity center while the cake toy with candle are still available for play.  Once the cake toy is detached, Evenflo has stated that the toy is safe to play with.  Evenflo needs to be contacted for a free replacement cake toy.
