THE APATHETIC VOTER! Quite different to those filled with anger, so angry that some want to strip naked, show muscle, make angry faces.

"YOU DON'T SCARE ME!"...Sounds familiar? It's HALLOWEEN!!!, but not that funny last week at the Center for The Arts, at Towson University.Several dance companies embraced the theme of "Inertia 2010" It had profound meaning when we consider the political temperature espoused  to be sweeping the nation now. Could it be a passing Halloween with no howling winds, a suname, or just a tropical storm with little consequences?

Assistant Professor Vincent E. Thomas, was sounding the "change" and "wake-up" theme, in his opening dance to Sam Cooke's CHANGE IS GONNA COME".

Dancers from the Harford County Ballet Company highlighted the need for humanism, at times sending out a plea to the frustrated, not to give up, but, to perhaps, try dance, as a panacea.

This message was even more spotlighted when eight ballerinas, four dressed in black, four in white, danced in unison to Beethoven's Midnight Sonata.

Oh! the days of chivalry, when a gentleman walked across the dance floor, with total disregard for race or station, but with deep respect, having zero inertia, and uttered the words, "Miss,... May I have this dance?"
