Town Meetings: An Important Part of the Political Process

One part of the political process is to vote, but this is the beginning. The other part is to stay informed. This is a two way process, One way is to attend town meetings which gives the public a chance to voice concerns and possible solutions to local issues. This is taking place locally which is encouraging. Whether or not issues are resolved at a single is only part of the process. The other part is to stay involved and engaged (Smith, 2013)
