Town Criers the Center of Attention
The Town Criers report that their day, August 24, 2012, on historic St. George Street in St. Augustine Florida, was filled with many positive responses to their signs. The smiling faces shown above reflect the receptive attitude towards a call for the impeachment of Obama and an accounting of Benghazi. According to those present, the idea of the general public displaying signs calling for the impeachment of a President has not happened in their life time. It will be recalled that the calls for impeachment of Richard Nixon were media driven and by Washington insiders. Today, the calls for impeachment are very different. They come from the people.
Last weekend there was a major ‘Impeach Obama’ campaign on the interstate overpasses throughout America.
It should be noted that the mainstream press failed to cover the events.
According to Internet postings, complete with pictures, many of these events took place. A visitor to St. Augustine disclosed that in Indiana along I-65 many overpasses displayed Impeach Obama banners last Saturday, August 14, 2013. One such event caught the attention of the committee members. This event took place in San Antonio, Texas. The first words out of the Town Crier’s mouth were, “Has anybody got a clown suit and an Obama mask?”
