Cincinnati, Ohio’s Walk the Moon got its start in 2008, deriving its name from the song “Walking on the Moon” by The Police. After releasing independent debut, i want! i want!, in November 2010, the four-piece ensemble released self-titled RCA debut, featuring the single “Anna Sun,” in June 2012. The album’s second single “Tightrope” was used in a HP Envy 4 Ultrabook computer commercial.
Walk the Moon is best known for its highly entertaining: non-stop beats, undeniable energy and skilled musicianship – highlighted by smooth vocal harmonies, infectious hooks, catchy lyrics and well-crafted arrangements.
