Tour tours at Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures

The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures now offers special tours for those that are blind or have low vision. These Touch Tours can be booked for adult or children groups of up to 15. At least two weeks advanced notice is required for booking. There are also monthly tours at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Reservations are required to be made by 3 p.m. the day before.

The touch tours allow for those who have vision problems to be able to experience the joy of the miniatures museum through their other senses. This includes a verbally descriptive tour of the museum as well as hands-on tactile experiences. The touch tours can also be combined with K-12 curriculum experiences.

The cost is $5 per participant for adult and monthly tours with aides being able to attend for free. The educational touch tours for children are $3 per child with aides being free.

About the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures: The Mini Time Machine Museum has a variety of miniature displays including a fairy Enchanted Forest themed area. The museum regularly has events for kids on Saturdays that include making miniature crafts. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The first Thursdays of the month the museum is open until 8 p.m.
