Tour the Samuel Adams Brewery in Boston for a cool experience

Don’t leave Boston without stopping by the Samuel Adams Brewery. Boston is proud of its brewing heritage, and see how beer is made from the fields to the finished product.

Samuel Adams prides itself in using the finest ingredients in the world. They would rather ask how will it taste; than how much the ingredients cost? They spare no expense when choosing the finest ingredients. They start with the best hops, malted barley, water and yeast.

Each year, Jim Koch, the founder and brewer of Samuel Adams travels to Bavaria and selects the hops by hand to make their century-old family recipe.

Located at 30 Germania Street, in Boston, Mass., the hour-long tours are held from Monday to Saturday and begin approximately every 45 minutes. The Monday through Thursday tours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday tours are 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and Saturday tours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Group tours over 20 may call 617-368-5000 for reservations for Thursday and Friday tours from 3:30 to 4 p.m.

A suggested donation of $2.00 is requested, and all proceeds go to local charities.

*Only guests 21 and older with a valid ID can sample on the tour. Those not from the U.S. or Canada, must have a passport or copy of the passport ID. International licenses are not accepted. All guests from the US and Canada must have a current: State ID, License, Military, Passport, United States Visa Card, Alien Registration or Green Card in order to drink on the tour.
