Tour of the Dragons Stage Race on May 5-6

The organizers of the Tour of the Battenkill and the Stan’s Notubes Great American Cycling Series are proud to announce the addition of the Tour of the Dragons Stage Race on May 5-6 in the ‘Shires’ of Bennington and Manchester, VT.  Formerly the Bennington Race Weekend, the event is now part of the Stan’s Notubes Great American Cycling Series 6 other national Pro/Am cycling events.

The Tour of the Dragons is a 2 day, 3 stage event:

Saturday Time Trial – Bennington – a challenging 10.7 mile TT Saturday Criterium – Downtown Bennington – 1 kilometer, 4 turns, fast!

Right on downtown Bennington Sunday Road Race – Manchester - 62 miles / 100 km (100 miles for the Pro/1/2) – in ‘the Shires’ of Vermont!  Epic climbs, dirt roads, and an exciting finish in Manchester!  Beware of dragons!

Nearly 400 racers participated in 2011 and we expect registration to be very competitive in 2012.
