Things can get stressful at work, especially during holiday time...especially at a museum where there are numerous exhibitions open at the same time!
Its difficult to remain stressed, however, when Santa is just down the hall from my cubicle. I mean The Big Guy himself. (Quoting Elf: "I know him!") I can just walk away.... and immerse myself in the wonders of Santa's Little Cottage. Santa is always warm and friendly and if there are no children around, ready for a good chat. The children are wide-eyed and excited (well, sometimes there are tears). I feel the negativity peel away and suddenly nothing is more important than the experience of that child with the magic of Santa.
Have you and your family had their "Santa fix" yet this year? I highly recommend you partake in all the fun of Celebration Crossing, the nostalgic L.S.Ayres Santa Claus Express train, holiday activities and even breakfast opportunities. You might even peek in on the 1955 Triumph motorcycle in the Eternal James Dean exhibition across the hall!
