This touge battle takes place on wet roads with the Honda S2000 against a Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Basically no contest, the Subaru wins by practical default with all-wheel drive. A very unfair race, the S2000 struggles for traction through the corners and launch as the Subaru follows closely behind. The first touge run shows just how much traction Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system can provide. When properly driven, the Subaru is a very potent competitor. The vehicle is extremely light in the rear as well, regardless of chassis layout. When compared against the Subaru in these conditions, it simply can not win. Watch how quickly the Impreza catches the S2000 from the initial launch. The Subaru drive had to slow down! Then on the return run, watch how quickly the Subaru wins by time default. The S2000 can't keep up!
