Ski Granby Ranch is hosting two big events this weekend for the whole family: Totally Insane Winter Blast and the Totally Insane Rail Jam.
The Totally Insane Winter Blast kicks off at 10:30 a.m. at the base of the ski area at the Winter Blast tent where you can register for the Family Quest and get started on what the ski area calls the biggest ever game of Hide & Seek.
Family Quest starts at 11:30 a.m. The Quest is a race to find all five flags on the mountain. There’s an Abominable Snowman of the West out and about who’s dedicated to slowing you down and may even send you back to the start. Families must register by 11:15 a.m. at the Winter Blast Tent for the Family Quest.
At 1 p.m., it’s the Totally Insane Rail Jam, which is just for kids 12 and under. Register by 12:30 p.m. and meet at the Ballroom Park next to the Milestone Lift. Family Game Time starts at 1:30 p.m. for more family games.
The Abominable Snowman Dance Party caps the day from 2:30 to 4 p.m. with live music by the Jackman Brothers, dancing games, contests and more. Then, night skiing and tubing runs from 5-8 p.m.
