The Seleucid Empire makes its grand debut, along with game editing tools in this free update.
Total War: Rome II has released a brand new content update, featuring a new playable faction in addition to improved Steam Workshop support, the company announced today.
Joining a dozen other playable super-powers comes TWRII's thirteenth faction, the Seleucid Empire. Known for their engineering and city architecture prowess, the Seleucians rely on cavalry regiments and armored elephants in battle. The faction also comes complete with their own set of units, tech trees and campaign objectives. For further details, be sure to check out the Total War Wiki.
Coupled with the new playable faction are in-game creating/editing tools or Steam Workshop support; including mod manager activation, which is accessible through the Total War launcher. These additions aim to streamline game modification (mods) sharing and loading.
TWRII’s update comes free of charge to anyone who owns the game. Patch 5 is also included in this DLC.
