USA total medal count of 23 medals at 2010 Winter Games; and 4 medalists are from Utah. The US took three more medals Friday at the 2010 Olympic Games, to bring the current medal count to twenty-three, and four of those medalists are from Utah.
Tuesday, the US didn’t win any medals at the Olympic Games and was trailing behind Germany, but Wednesday the number of medals awarded to US athletes rose by six, Thursday four were added, and Friday two were added, and Saturday another three.
Four of those medals have been won by Utah athletes; another athlete lives in Utah part-time, and many of the athletes have trained in Park City, Utah before the 2002 Olympic Games. The US medals won so far are 6 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

Apolo Anton Ohno (lives in Salt Lake City, Utah) won the Silver at the Short Track Men’s 1500m and the Bronze Short Track 1000m
Apolo Anton Ohno lives in Salt Lake City and after yesterday’s win of the Bronze medal in the Short Track 1000m, he now holds the record for the most medals won at the Olympics of any US athlete.
