Wednesday August 2, movie stars showed up in style at Hollywood at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the premiere of the re-make of science fiction classic “Total Recall,” one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s most successful films. This time around “Total Recall” directed by Len Wiseman is starring Colin Farrell, Bokeem Woodbine, Kate Beckinsale and Bryan Cranston.
In “Total Recall,” a factory worker, Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall - a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led - goes wrong and he finds himself on the run.
The film opens in the U.S. this Friday, August 3 and will be competing for top box office dollars with the children’s movie “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days” and Rashida Jones’ newest film “Celeste and Jesse Forever.”
“Total Recall” is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, some sexual content, brief nudity, and language and has a run-time of 1 hour and 58 minutes.
