Toronto's mayor, Rob Ford, recently challenged former wrestling star Hulk Hogan to an arm-wrestling contest and won. This surprising event was captured on film and aired on Komo News just a few days ago. In looking at the photo's of the event it looked as though Rob Ford had a good time with Hulk Hogan and that both men made for a good arm-wrestling contest.
Hulk Hogan is a 14-time world wrestling champion and showed up to the arm-wrestling contest with Rob Ford in his traditional Hulk Hogan shirt and bandana. Rob Ford came into the room full of confidence to the song "Eye of the Tiger" and removed his normal coat and tie. Hulk Hogan was not shaken by his confidence and said "Big man, oh, that's all you got?" He added "Not only am I going to rip this arm off, I'm going to take your job while I'm at it, brother. Mayor Hogan."
Once the arm-wrestling contest started you could clearly see that Rob Ford was sweating and have a tough time. After a bit of trash talking Hulk Hogan, Rob managed to slam Hulk's arm to the table and proclaimed "I own this town!" Hulk Hogan later admitted "That was a setup," and then went on to say "the only reason he beat me is because he's younger." Rob Ford described the arm-wrestling contest in saying "it was like wrestling a friggin' grizzly bear."
