August 13th to 15th  will be the dates for this years Hot+Spicy Festival at the Toronto Harbourfront

For the past 12 years vendors have been selling and sampling their Hot sauces and BBQ sauces for the Toronto area residents to try & buy.

The festival runs from Friday the 13th of August 6pm to Midnight, Saturday from Noon to Midnight and Sunday from Noon til 6pm.

Entertainment will consist of great music, Face Painting for the youngsters and Crafts for the kids.

There will also be some Cooking demos and workshops as well.

One of the vendors at this show will be Jake Albert's Specialty Foods

Last year Jake Albert was a vendor at the Toronto show for the first time.

And he did very well!. he sold all 24 cases of his Jake Albert’s Fuego Rojo which is a Pomegranate Habanero Glaze. You will be surprised to know that the way they let visitors sample the sauce was on Ice Cream!, yes Ice Cream!

It is very sweet with a good kick. As they like to say, “it goes sweet to heat in 5 seconds”

Last year Jake Albert only promoted the one sauce at the show, in this 13th annual show Jake Albert will bring the both the Fuego Rojo and also for the first time Fuego Azul which is a Wild Blueberry Habanero Glaze, along the same properties of Jake Albert’s Fuego Rojo, is amazing as a BBQ Sauce and even better as a Hot Sauce. It too works amazingly well on everything from Ribs, Chicken & Salmon all the way up to Cheesecake and Ice Cream.

Jake says that "It has a very wild taste sensation, it first starts out very sweet, that is what your tongue first registers, then when you swallow, you get the heat in the back of your throat. It isn’t so hot that you can’t handle it either, it disappears within a few seconds, then you are ready for your next bite. It is almost addictive."

But this is only one of the many suppliers of sauces that will be at this event, So come on Toronto get your self down to Harbourfront and take in this show!
