This writer was granted exclusive access to the Antonio Margarito training camp in Oxnard, California. The former world champion arrived at approximately 1PM and quickly got to work. Margarito looked sharp, sparring, speed bag, and stretches were on the agenda for the day.
Margarito trainer Roberto Garcia spoke with the Examiner this afternoon and shared his thoughts on the progress of training camp thus far, "He is right where I want him at this point in camp. We are close to finishing up sparring. The fight is only a few more weeks away, and I could not be happier with Tony's progress."
Examiner.com also spoke with Antonio Margarito. The former world champion was willing and eager to talk about his upcoming November 13th showdown Vs. Manny Pacquiao, slated for Dallas, Tx. Tony pulled no punches, but also praised his opponent, "Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter and he deserves a lot of praise for his accomplishments." The former world champion praised Pacquiao, but is confident that he will come out on top, "Manny is a great fighter, but I will win this fight." Margarito trainer, Garcia even had a prediction, " I believe that we will knockout Manny Pacquiao by the 11th round."
This writer was up close and personal with the entire team, and can say first hand that Margarito looks very sharp. Pacquiao will be coming full speed ahead, so Margarito better be ready for him.
Back home in Mississippi I had the opportunity to ask several boxing fans if they thought that Margarito should even be allowed to fight again. Most of them said that they did not think he should be allowed. There are always two sides to a story, and after listening to team Margarito I myself question whether or not the hand wrap situation was blown out of whack. Margarito trainer Garcia is not happy with comments made by Naseem Richardson. Garcia alleged that Richardson compared Margarito' wrap to a brick, "This guy tells people that the hand -wraps were like a brick. This is BS, total garbage. It was nothing like that at all, it just got blown way out of proportion."
November 13th is quickly arriving, and one thing is for sure, Antonio Margarito had a monster training camp. Will it be enough to win? We will all find out on November 13th

GUYS MARGACHEATO'S BOXING IS END THIS COMING NOVEMBER !LOL!
As an avid follower of boxing, the following are my amateur observation and analysis of the upcoming championship fight between Pacquiao and Margarito: As already reported by many boxing scribes, not only Margarito is taller, bigger, stronger, well trained, well prepared for this championship fight than Pacquiao, but he's also hungrier and highly motivated to redeem himself that he can beat the best in boxing without cheating and he's very determined to be the first Mexican boxer to score a knockout against the only Mexicutioner alive in front of thousands and thousands of live Mexican audience on Nov. 13, 2010. Conversely, Pacquiao has many interruptions on his training regiments, especially in the areas of improving stamina, in case the fight will last for 12 rounds, i.e. playing basketball in lieu of jogging/running, so far only sparred 10 rounds instead of 12, shortened daily training to attend congressional meeting and social events, skipped few days of training due to flu and sprained ankle and sore shoulder, congressional issues and the possibility of being knockout by Margo due to lack of training and preparation seems to affect his ability to focus on winning this fight. Although, he had similar adversities in his previous championship fights and still came out a winner, but this time around, it's entirely different situation, coz he's not well trained, well prepared, and he's fighting a bigger and stronger opponent in higher weight class, plus his opponent has the proven ability to precisely deliver power punches to various targets, especially into the liver area on the stomach, the jaw and temple and with Margos' strenght and power hitting accurately to those areas, it's more likely that Pacquaio will hit and kiss the canvass. Although, Margarito has all the advantages going into this fight, I still predict that pacquiao will knock him out on the 7th, but if he fails to knock Margo out in 7th, Margo will knock him out in later rounds or Margo will win by unanimous decision convincingly, mainly because Pacquiao will run out of gas at the later rounds and will absorb tremendous punishment by the Tijuana Tornado.

Are they going to spar with The ARMENIAN MANACE, not in a million years, coz this pointy nose guy, might do that. To give you an example. We will be WAITING.We will be WAITING.We will be WAITING. Fans thought that Margarito should not even be allowed to fight again. Punch Drunk La cucaracha or Joke Coach Roach, the one turned down by Rigondeaux for being a AMATEUR joke coach, has predicted an 8th round ko, up to this day, he's still a joke for latino fans, for his piss off scaring tactics that doesn't scare nobody. He has mouthed vs Maywether Sr. but Garcia, an ex champ at 35, if he loses his cool can give Roach what his demanding, and that's a punch on his big trap. killing all his intimidation tactics, just like the GIANT LESNAR, who I hope still has teeth to eat his burrito and drin a corona.
after a thorough review of his fight against Mosley-, i bet he will drop in 6th round
Mosley was very sharp in that fight (i just don't know if pacman can be as sharp as mosley was then). He was able to strike bombs to margarito while slipping a lot of punches from margarito. this might be why he was able to pull it through. on the other side, margarito's punches look very hard too even without the handwraps because there were occassions that he clinched when he ate margo's punches. mosley's height is not very far from margo.
Bigger puncher Mosley was full of EPO, and the refere had to be the one to stopped. Midget Packriods has no such punch. Packroids vs Hatton- Hatton was dopped. For the RECORDS, Cheato can take an EPO PUNCH. For the RECORDS, or as you wanted to see it, Marg-Cain-ito koyed and beat both; Cotto and Clottey. Punto y aparte. Cheato was able to take an EPO PUnCH vs Mostly EPO. Perhaps this is what is worrying Pedman team.????

I don´t know what Roberto Garcia is bobbling about, Naseem Richardson was there infront like the others when the wrapping started not Roberto Garcia. It´s Margaritos only testimony which Garcia believed, that he is telling the truth. Margarito grows up to a rough neighborhood which he and his team are bragging about where everybody knows all the dirty tricks witten in the book just to survive. I come from Denmark and our 4 students who went to visit the schools in Mexico were mobbed with guns and robbed. All of them are in the hospitals right. For christ sake they are only students visiting a school. Figure it out.

Manny knows Margaritos limit, thats why he also limits his training, if he over trained Margo might get killed he don't want to be a kilier, that's why he is just measuring it to control his impact. Pacman loves to knockdown big fighters, that's why he is conquering bib weight class. He is too big and too slow, Pac can sing while waiting for Margarito's punches to arrive, whereas a blink of an eye for Margarito will cause him a cut from flying debris that cannot be seen where its coming from. Besides, Mexicans are already like a snack for Pacquiao, be beat more Mexicans than the Mexican police.

Manny Pacquiao regardless of distractions will eventually
prevail. He is destined to greatness. The only man who can beat him is himself. I seriously doubt the capabilities of Margacheato who intends to cheat whenever he can.
Pacman will lose if he gets headbutted, elbowed, or break his hands. His ring smarts and speed will
be the key to KO victory. Mark it.
with the pacman enjoying his new career as a congressman he may not be too focused on this fight. in fact in the training camp in the philippines roach was qouted as saying that there are too many distractions and bs out there and it was the worst camp they have had in a long time. if the pacman should lose, then there is no one to blame but the pacman himself. it appears that he is not as hungry a fighter that he was once before. maybe he is too confident or just does not care anymore since he has accomplished a lot and he seems happy being a congressman more than a boxer. this fight could be a wake up call for the pacman and all his fans that not all good things last forever. good luck to both fighters anyway and may the best man win.

There is a big possibility that what happened to Margarito during his bout with Mosley will happen to Pacquiao this coming November 13, 2010. Looking back at the Mosley VS Margarito fight, nobody gave the aging Mosley a chance against Margarito. Team Mosley executed a perfect fight-plan which was to never let Margarito apply his full pressure attack by throwing power loaded shots at the face and body of Margarito while keeping Margarito's feet always on the move.
There's no doubt that Margarito is planning to land big body shots and uppercut at Pacquiao to the extent that he is willing to receive shots in order to give his own shots. Given Margarito's very good body conditioning, inflicting pain at Margarito would be very difficult if not planned properly by Roach and Pacquiao. There's a need for Pacquiao to precisely throw crippling shots at the quickest possible time to discourage Margarito from further pressing the fight.
