Sunday night, a tornado touched down in Billings, Montana and caused severe damage to parts of the sports arena at MetraPark in The Heights area.
Part of the roof of the expo center was torn off the 10,000-seat Rimrock Auto Arena when the tornado struck and golf ball size hall hit the city. The expo center is used for rodeos, monster truck shows, concerts and some local sporting events. Police have blocked off the area and have asked people to stay away.
The tornado struck at 5 pm, and touched down several times before moving on, according to Montana Highway Patrol. No deaths or injuries have been reported in the area, but debris was scattered for several hundred yards in the area.
Other buildings in the area appear to have suffered very little damage.
