In December, news hit the tabloids that Dean McDermott was unfaithful to Tori. He apparently had an affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand. The alleged incident happened while Dean was in Toronto, promoting his reality show, “Chopped Canada.”

Dean sought help by checking into rehab for treatments. He was there for 30 days. Now Dean is now out of rehab. Tori made the decision to allow her fans the chance to witness the events almost as they happen in real time. It is supposed to be reality TV that is real and unscripted.

Lifetime states in a press release. “. . . nobody knows how the drama will unfold - not Tori, not Dean - and only time will tell if Tori and Dean's marriage survives.”

Not only has the news of Dean’s infidelity caused tremendous strain on the couple’s marriage, it is also rumored that they are financially broke. Dean was seen shopping at a discount warehouse, Smart and Final. According to Facebook, Tori had to close her antique shop, IvenTORI on Feb. 14, 2014.

Fans may remember that Tori and Dean had a fairytale wedding seven years ago. They have four children together.

"True Tori" will premieres on April 22, 2014, at 9 p.m. central on Lifetime.
