Tori Spelling lied about her baby weight -- particularly how she lost it. In her new book "Spelling It Like It Is," the reality star and mom of four admits that her publicist encouraged her to fabricate a story about how she dropped weight following her fourth pregnancy. So she said that she exercised (she said she swam on a regular) but that's not what she did at all. On Oct. 29, Us Weekly reported that it was all a lie.
"My publicist had given me clear instructions about what to say about my weight loss. Women didn't want to know that I had lost weight through dieting, not exercising. I didn't want to be the a--hole who didn't work for it. So I said that I swam. It was sort of a bad choice. I can't do much more than a doggy paddle," Tori explains.
So Tori Spelling lied about her baby weight loss... big deal, right? Wrong. People are getting all over her because she seems to live a life based on stretched truths. Just last week it was reported that Tori said she and her husband, Dean McDermott were flat broke -- but they aren't. Obviously.
"I really don't exercise much, period. So I took off my weight the old-fashioned way. I like to call it the Just Keep Your F--king Mouth Shut and Eat Air diet. It's all the rage," Tori wrote in her new memoir. Does this surprise you? Have you changed your opinion of Spelling after learning of these "lies"?
Although Tori Spelling lied about her baby weight, she says that she believes in "healthy eating." Evidently air is healthy... or that was another exaggeration... ?
