'True Tori' debuted last night on the Lifetime network. Fans watched as Tori Spelling talked about the heartbreak she endured when hearing about Dean McDermott's affair with Emily Goodhand. The news broke just before Christmas and Spelling did everything she could to keep her life as normal as possible for the couple's four young children. According to an April 23 report from E! Online, Tori Spelling cried throughout the therapy session with Dean McDermott and when he tried to console her, she pushed him away. There is a lot of work that needs to be done with this couple.

Fans have followed the coverage of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott over the last few months. There have been a lot of false reports, including one where Spelling was “wasting away” because of the affair. Spelling addressed that in the premiere episode of “True Tori.” The Lifetime docu-series wasn't something planned by the couple but when the opportunity came about, they both signed on. Speculation says it was for money because they needed it, but some fans believe Spelling wants to show other women you can be strong and work things out.

Tori Spelling talks about when she found out about the affair on “True Tori.” When she asked Dean McDermott about it, he got nervous and his eyebrow twitched. He admitted to Spelling he had kissed Emily Goodhand, but nothing more. The lies were piling up and Spelling is having a hard time dealing with the entire event. In fact, she admits she hasn't even started to process the infidelity.

The heartbreak in Tori Spelling's eyes was apparent during the premiere episode of “True Tori.” She is learning how to live her life without Dean McDermott, but she isn't sure that is entirely what she wants to do. Working through everything on her own and in a couples therapy setting will help her make the right choice. When McDermott wanted to return home early, she shut him down. Clearly she knows she needs space, which is a step in the right direction.
